If you’ve ever had a criminal record or been denied entry, the US border will know and they could deny you access to the US. It is sad for so many people that they made a mistake when they were younger and years later a trip to Florida with the family isn’t an option because of that mistake. In some cases, even if you’ve only been fingerprinted, it may raise a flag to the US.
